pod
pod is an EVM-compatible L1 built on the foundations of consensusless research, pushing forward the question of which blockchain applications truly require consensus and which can operate without it. Common Prefix is the core scientific team behind pod, working closely with the pod team to design and prove the security of the core protocol. For example, we wrote the pod-core paper that was published at DISC 2025. Beyond this, we have authored a detailed specification of the protocol, contributed to the engineering of SDKs and supporting infrastructure, and continue to contribute to the design and formal security proofs of key mechanisms in the pod ecosystem, including gas pricing, voting, and auctions.
